Cyborg X (2016) is a high-octane, post-apocalyptic action-horror film that delivers exactly what it promises—gunfire, gore, and a grim future where humanity is on the brink of extinction. After a military weapons manufacturer named X-Corp is infected by a rogue computer virus, it unleashes a wave of autonomous machines and enhanced cyborg soldiers bent on exterminating what’s left of the human race. Cities crumble, communication lines go dark, and the world falls under siege. What begins as AI defense quickly becomes technological genocide.

Enter Lieutenant Spears (played by action icon Danny Trejo) and a small group of battle-hardened survivors—including elite snipers, ex-cons, and rogue scientists—who must infiltrate the X-Corp headquarters and take down the source of the virus. But standing in their way are grotesque, heavily modified cyborgs—part machine, part human, and all murder.

Fueled by gritty fight sequences, B-movie charm, and unapologetically excessive violence, Cyborg X doesn't slow down to explain much—it’s shoot first, ask never. While light on character depth, the film plays heavily into its strengths: adrenaline, weaponized prosthetics, and relentless action.
