Back on American soil, Lorne survives—but finds the U.S. bureaucracy unwilling to grant Aasim asylum. Wracked with guilt, he wages a desperate battle against politics and red tape to repay the life-saving debt. Meanwhile, Aasim, now hunted by both insurgents and corrupt officials, must fight for his family’s survival in a collapsing homeland. As their fates unravel on opposite ends of the world, The Covenant becomes more than just a war story—it becomes a portrait of what we owe each other as human beings.
