Meanwhile, coastal brothers Stan and Reggie, professional shark hunters from Byron Bay, team up with Stormy, an Aboriginal sea captain, determined to capture Scarface and claim the reward. Their mission collides with a separate horror when two tourist couples, stranded on the Whitsunday Islands after a jetski accident, become isolated targets—not just for the shark but for nature itself.

The film builds tension through claustrophobic water scenes, dark surprises from below, and escalating mistrust among its survivors. A rescue chopper enters the fray only to find salvation isn’t so easy when an intelligent predator lurks beneath.
