🤠⚰️ Forsaken (2015): A past buried deep. A reckoning that rides alone.

"Redemption rides in silence—and speaks in bullets."

In the dust-blown plains of post-Civil War Wyoming, Forsaken unfolds like a solemn hymn to lost time, broken men, and the weight of redemption. It’s a classic Western told through aching silences, strained bloodlines, and the long shadow of violence—anchored by the real-life father-son duo Kiefer and Donald Sutherland in their most raw and restrained performances.

John Henry Clayton (Kiefer Sutherland), a former gunslinger haunted by the horrors of war and a lifetime of death, returns home after a decade of absence. He seeks peace, a second chance with his preacher father (Donald Sutherland), and a quiet life on the family farm. But the land has changed—and so has the town. Ruthless businessman James McCurdy (Brian Cox) and his gang of hired guns are forcing farmers off their land, and no one dares to stand against him.

John Henry swore never to kill again. But when the violence reaches his doorstep—and old wounds between father and son begin to bleed anew—he realizes that sometimes, peace demands war. Not for glory. Not for revenge. But for what’s right.

Forsaken is a slow-burning Western elegy about forgiveness, legacy, and the line a man must cross when all other roads are gone.
